For Service Providers, TekITcon partners with Stripe payments. In order to be able to apply for any work your stripe account must first be setup and connected to TekITcon's platform
Step 1. Goto your Accounts settings page and click on the 'Payments' menu. Then click on the 'Connect button' to begin the setup process.
Step 2. You will be taken directly to Stripe to begin the setup process, if you already have a stripe account you can simply login or just fill out all of the information to setup a new account
Step 3. Once your account via Stripe has been completed and it has been connected to your TekITcon account, payments will be sent directly via Stripe to the payment options you have selected within Stripe. You should also see the connection status on the Tekitcon Payments page.
If you change businesses or want to use a different Stripe account you can simply 'Disconnect' and begin the process again, however keep in mind if any payments are pending it will not allow the transfer. You will need to have a clear account with no active Work Orders to reconnect a new Stripe account.
Step 4. If you need to make any updates to payments or tax related information you can do so directly on stripe.com
*Tax reports such as 1099 will be generated by stripe at the end of the year directly for you to retrieve
