How do I get a copy of my screening?

To obtain a copy of your screening report please contact Checkr Support directly (contact information listed below). TekITCon does not receive nor maintain the detailed results of screenings.

When placing your screenings order you can select to receive a copy of your results via email.

For US providers: Log in to your candidate portal on the US Checkr site or contact Checkr Support.

For Canadian providers: Log in to your candidate portal on the Canadian Checkr site or contact Checkr Support.

Note - For security and privacy purposes reports that were completed more than 6 months ago are not available in the candidate portal. To obtain a copy of an old report contact Checkr Support.  Checkr Support: 844-224-3257 or 844-824-3257 or support@checkr.com.  Checkr Support is available Monday-Thursday 8-5PM PST, and Friday 8-4PM PST.

What information from my screenings are displayed on my profile?

Drug and Background checks - If you successfully pass a screening you will receive a “badge” on your profile.  We do not display non-compliant results, you simply will not receive a badge. So to anyone else a 'non-compliant' screening will simply look the same as if you had not requested the test in the first place.

Motor Vehicle Records - This information is not displayed on your profile.  You are free to provide your results to buyers who inquire.

Does not having a background check or drug test, or failing one disqualify me from obtaining work?

Screenings are not required to gain access to work on TekITCon. Choosing not to purchase a screening or having a non-compliant result does not disqualify you from using the platform. However, some buyers have their own policies and requirements when it comes to screenings so please note that assigning work is at the discretion of each buyer.

Can TekITCon just hold the funds from my payment so I can place the order?

Unfortunately at this time we do not have that ability, you will need to pay by credit or debit card through our portal.

What happens if my drug test expires before I go to the lab?

Please submit a ticket through our Support Center and select the Problem Type of “Background Screenings”.

Why did I fail my drug test when I have a prescription for the drug in question?

When a non-negative result is returned the Medical Review Office reaches out 3 times in 72 business hours to determine if there is a prescription for the drug in question. In addition, the screening will remain 'pending' for additional 72 hours to give time to respond. If you do have a prescription, you will need to provide that prescription information to the Medical Review Office.

**Any provider wishing to receive a copy of their screening or who has a dispute with the findings should contact 844-824-3257 or by email at support@checkr.com.  If a buyer is in need of a copy of a screening the buyer should request a copy from the provider directly, the provider is free to share their results as they so choose.
